Giving Back To The Society
Star Tours Ghana is a branch of Future Stars International (also Known as Future Stars Ghana) and all our proceeds from our tours goes directly to support all the 150 less privileged children in Liberia Refugee Camp in Buduburam.
We run a charity program which consist of an orphanage care centre and a school in the community of Buduburam.
Primary Education
We run a free primary education project in (Buduburam). Our primary school project helps 150 less privileged children escape the lifestyle of poverty by providing educational support.
Orphanage Care Centre
Our children’s home in Buduburam refugee camp is a four bedroom house that has been converted to house 30 children. The children have all experienced different traumas: loss of parents, physical abuse, sexual abuse, and extreme poverty. Many of our children have been denied the chance of an education and have lived through severe neglect. The home strives to provide a better future for our kids by providing love, shelter, food, and education.
Feed A Sould Campaign
Chronic hunger is devastating to learning, yet many children arrive to Future Stars school on empty stomachs. Protein is critical to children’s diets to allow for effective brain development, yet only a few children have access to the protein they need on a daily basis. This has contributed to terribly impaired learning capabilities. We strive to provide nutritious meals to all the 150 less privileged children in the school project. This helps to prepare the children for learning, decreasing incidence of stunting, develop healthier brains and bodies so they can achieve their full potential throughout their lives.
