Terms and Conditions
Deposits: a deposit of 25% of the total tour price is required at the time of booking. The balance is due no later than 28 days prior to the departure of the selected tour program. If the reservation is made less than 28 days before departure, the entire cost of the tour must be paid at the time of the reservation. Accepted methods of payment include bank transfers and money wires.


Confirmation: confirmation and initial tour information will be mailed within 24 hours after receiving a 25% deposit. Final documents will be sent approximately four weeks prior to departure.


Cancellations: You have the right to cancel a reservation, although, it must be done in writing through email. We do not accept cancellations by telephone. Cancellations received less than 28 days prior to departure will be subject to the following forfeit fees:


28+ days prior to departure: no fee (full refund)

28 – 14 days prior to departure: 75% of the entire tour cost will be refunded

13 – 7 days prior to departure: 50% of the entire tour cost will be refunded

Less than 7 days prior to departure: 25% of the entire tour cost will be refunded


Refunds: No refunds are given for lost travel time, or any other aspect of the trip. After departure, you will be billed for the full trip no matter the circumstances. We encourage clients to buy private travel insurance, so they are protected from unforeseen incidents.


Accommodation: All quoted tour prices include accommodations based on double occupancy. However, amendments can be made for single occupancy.


Star Tours Ghana acts only as an agent to our client(s) in all matters relating to travel. Star Tours allows our client(s) to have an independent relationship with various companies, owners, contractors, and suppliers that provide various travel services. The client(s) assumes all responsibility for injury, personal illness, and loss or damage to property in connection with any service referred by Stars Tours Ghana.

Star Tours Ghana reserves the right to make changes in the itinerary when deemed necessary for the safety of the client(s). Star Tours Ghana and other cooperating agencies reserve the right to remove anyone from a program without refund who acts in a manner which is unsafe for themselves, or inconsiderate or unsafe to others, and ignores the requests of their guide(s) to act in a safe and responsible manner. By placing a deposit with Star Tours Ghana, the depositor agrees to be bound by the recited terms and conditions.


Obligation: The client(s), by engaging Star Tours Ghana and making a deposit and/or full payment for travel arrangements, agrees to hold Star Tours Ghana faultless in making arrangements on his/her behalf. Any damages that the client wishes to be reimbursed for shall be sought directly from the owners, wholesalers and/or contractors in which their activities/plans are scheduled with.


Insurance: We strongly recommend that our clients buy travel insurance policies for the duration of their trips.

Health Precautions:
We recommend that you contact your physician before beginning your tour in order to discuss the current World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations for the country (s) you will visit on your tour.
