Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park

Located in downtown Accra, Ghana is the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum. It has a Mausoleum which is the final resting place of Ghana’s first President and Africanist. The park has a museum that hosts rare artefacts relating to Ghana’s independence and tours at the park give visitors in-depth history of the Sub-saharan struggle for independence.

Ussher Fort, James Town – Accra

Ussher Fort is a fort in Accra, Ghana. It was built by the Dutch in 1649 as Fort Crèvecœur, and is two days’ march from Elmina and to the east of Accra on a rocky point between two lagoons. It was one of three forts that Europeans built in the region during the middle of the 17th century

National Museum of Ghana, Barnes Rd., Accra Ghana

The museum has three primary collection areas; archaeology, ethnography, and art, which are used to weave together a story about Ghana’s rich cultural history. Our well experienced tour guides will teach and explain to you each item in the museum and its relation to Ghana’s culture and history.

W.E.B. DuBois Center

We will end the tour at the Dubois Centre for Pan Africanism. Our experienced guide would be with you to teach you about the role Dr. Dubois played to build Ghana.
