Assin Manso Slave River Site

We will stop in Assin Manso Slave River before going to the castle. Assin Manso is famous for its role in the slave trade as the destination of slave’s last bath in the “Donko Nsuo” river before their shipment to the New World

Cape Coast Castle  

From the Slave River our next stop will be the awe-inspiring Cape Coast Castle. You’ll be met by the local guides, and taken on a tour in the castle to learn the history you’ll never forget. After learning the history, the guides will set you free to explore everything from the grim dark dungeons to the magnificent cannon lined catwalks.

Elmina Castle

We we’ll head to the Elmina Castle. The castle was erected by the Portuguese in 1482 as Castelo de São Jorge da Mina in present-day Elmina, Ghana (formerly the Gold Coast). It was the first trading post built on the Gulf of Guinea, and the oldest European building in existence south of the Sahara! After the tour, you’ll once again have time to explore on your own ankd take pictures

Hans Cottage Botel

We will stop at Hans Cottage Botel to have lunch. Hans cottage Botel spells one of the most exciting and tourist oriented sites in the hotel industry. The hotel offers some spellbound and fascinating facilities to the delight of the visitors. The environment itself is carved out of the woods or a dense forest.

Kakum National Park

The park is rich in butterflies and birds, including African grey parrots and hornbills. The Canopy Walkway, suspended 30 meters above the ground, provides treetop views of the forest. A very captivating experience! The suspension bridges of Kakum National Park in the park offer an adventure above the forest that defies description of courage. We will visit the park before we head to Art and Craft Centre for our last day shopping before you head back home.
